Hi Darin,

Thanks for your post, this is Andrew from BackupAssist support.

Unfortunately the error message you have sent us does not contain sufficient information to assess the problem. Can you tell me what type of drive you are attempting to copy the file to and how big the backup file is?

If you are not already running the latest version of our BackupAssist, I would suggest that you please upgrade to the latest version of BackupAssist using our free upgrader here: http://www.backupassist.com/downloads/BAUG-3_5_1.exe.

Once you have installed this upgrade could you please enable debugging logging (View > Navigator > Information) and resimulate the error and then supply me with some diagnostic information - for help with compiling the diagnostics, please visit: http://www.backupassist.com/HTMLHelp/Tr ... upport.htm and send the diagnostics.zip file to support @ backupassist.com and reference this post so that we can respond via the forum.

Please let me know if you have any questions..
Andrew

Hi Darin,

Thanks for the backup report, but unfortunately it does not have enough information either.

As I previously asked, could you please enable debugging logging (View > Navigator > Information) and resimulate the error and then supply me with some diagnostic information - for help with compiling the diagnostics, please visit: http://www.backupassist.com/HTMLHelp/Tr ... upport.htm and send the diagnostics.zip file to support @ backupassist.com.

This diagnostics file provides me with not only the backup reports but also the configuration settings you have used, which will hopefully make finding the problem much easier.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Andrew
