Hi Team
Our backups are failing and report indicates that no tape in the tape drive.
We cannot see the backup tape through computer management but physically there is a tape inside the tape drive.
Tape drive is working properly and BackupAssist detects the tape drive too.
We restarted the BackupAssist and Removable Storage services but still cannot see the tape.
Any resolution for this?

Sorry to hear you're having these issues with your tape backup. It sounds like there may be an issue with the Removable Storage Management (RSM) database on your server.
Please take a look at the following white papers as these outline the troubleshooting steps that you can do to try resolve this:
