BackupAssist™ allows you to setup a wide variety of backup rotation schemes, including the majority of industry standard backup strategies, as well as offering you the ability to setup your own customized rotation strategies that are tailored towards your backup requirements.

Industry Standard Rotation Schemes

BackupAssist™ lets you choose from the following industry standard rotation schemes:
  • Grandfather, Father, Son - The most secure industry backup strategy for professional organizations
  • Professional - For professional organizations who need a powerful backup scheme
  • Intermediate - For schools, universities and organizations who need a basic backup and a range of archives.
  • Basic - For small organizations who need a basic backup
  • N-Week daily - For organizations who need backups of their data for the last N weeks
  • Daily + N-Weekly - For organizations who need backups of their data for the last N weeks on a rotating basis
