Preparing Your Tapes for Use with BackupAssist™

If, at any point you decided to introduce new tapes into your media pool or tapes that have previously been prepared for use with other backup software, you should ensure that they are readable and ready for use with BackupAssist™ using the Prepare functionality of BackupAssist™.

1. Select the 'Tools Tab' in BackupAssist™

2. Ensure your tape is in the drive and click the 'Prepare media for use with BackupAssist™'
