How to Change the Backup User Identity Details
BackupAssist™ backup processes require user information to login and perform the backup job. The Backup User Identity information is used to achieve this and for most installations the Administrator user, or a user that is a member of the Administrators will be sufficient. It is only when you are attempting to backup restricted or shared directory that you need to supply user authentication information that has access to these resources.
