Restoring Your Data
One of the great advantage of
BackupAssist is that its functionality is integrated with the Windows Backup Utility, which means that when it comes time to conduct a restoration of your data from a
BackupAssist backup you are not required to have
BackupAssist installed on the machine you are restoring to, as the restore functionality is already built into Windows.
Restore Procedure
To restore your data, simply run the Windows Backup Utility (Start > Run > ntbackup) and use the restore tab to catalog and retrieve your files from a backup.
