This error was reported to us by Robert Nitrio from California, and occurs when you attempt to copy the backup file to a REV disk after the backup has completed on a Windows 2003 SBS server.
!!Copying backup file
!!An error occurred whilst copying the backup file: Path not found (76)
Please follow the steps below to resolve this error.
1. Un-install the current driver for your REV drive.
2. Make the following registry change.
Important Note: This solution involves making changes to Windows registry settings on the customer's computer. Before attempting any of the following steps, be sure to consult with your supervisor or product specialist for approval. In addition, be sure to backup the registry before editing the registry.
Click Start , choose Run.
Type regedit in the Run field and click OK.
Remove the lower filters line from the registry: Double-click HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
Double-click System
Double-click CurrentControlSet
Double-click Control
Double-click Class
Double-click 4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318
Locate the Lower Filters line on the right side of the window Right-click the Upper Filters line and click Delete.
Right-click the Lower Filters line and click Delete.
3. Download the current driver for you REV device from the Iomega website here - https://iomega-na-en.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/iomega_na_en.cfg/php/enduser/cci/subproduct.php?p_prod_lvl1=669&p_sid=EjG95y6i
4. Reinstall the Iomega REV System Software Restart your computer.
