The new BackupAssist is here!

using BackupAssist for backups restores recoveries

New BackupAssist v7 avaliable now!

BackupAssist v7 is now available after serious development time, months of testing – including amazing feedback from our beta testing – and far too much caffeine and sugar.

Download a 30-day trial of BackupAssist v7 now!

We think it’s our most ambitious release yet with so many new features to make backup and disaster recovery simpler, more reliable and faster.

Some of the new features in v7…

Central Administration

This is a new browser-based console that lets you manage and monitor all your BackupAssist instances remotely within your LAN. From Central Administration you can stop, start, enable and disable backup jobs and open remote sessions of the full Backup Console. It’s really handy when you are looking after servers over a wide area (we’ll leave how ‘wide’ is defined up to you…).

New UI

We’ve completely changed the interface in v7, making it much clearer and more intuitive. It’s been designed to suit everyday users while retaining all the features that more technical IT professionals demand.

Support for Windows 8 and Server 2012 families

BackupAssist v7 has you covered if you’re an early adopter of the new Microsoft operating systems including Windows 8, Server 2012 and SQL Server 2012.
