If so, now\u2019s an opportune time to get some of the tricks and tip under your belt, to make Server 2012 work smooth as clockwork.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Install Desktop Experience<\/h2>\n<p>Desktop Experience brings to Server 2012 features from the Windows 8 Metro UI, which love it or hate it, is here to stay. It also opens up the &#8216;traditional&#8217; ways of getting to things like My Computer and Control Panel. Head over to Technet for a screencap that shows where you can &nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.technet.com\/b\/meamcs\/archive\/2012\/05\/01\/how-to-add-desktop-experience-feature-on-windows-server-8-beta.aspx\">install Desktop Experience<\/a>&nbsp;from.<\/p>\n<h2>Boot to Classic Desktop<\/h2>\n<p>Unfortunately, after you\u2019ve installed the Desktop Experience you\u2019ll be auto booted to the Metro interface from then on. If you\u2019re a traditionalist, you\u2019ll probably want to change that.
