Fast Incremental Backups

Looking for guidance on how to create fast image backups using System Protection? Want to cut 20 minute backups to 2 minutes, or 8 hour backups down to 2 hours? We can help you with that.

This article walks you through how to enable fast incremental image backups with a simple tick!

Rsync made easy with Amazon S3

Scalable storage, no hardware to manage and a backup destination that you can access from anywhere with an internet connection. It's easy to see why our Rsync remote backup solution is so popular.

Learn more about how BackupAssist’s implementation of Rsync can use Amazon S3 to provide a remote backup solution.

Understanding Backup methods

By backing up only the data that has changed, you can reduce the time and storage space required—but you must still be able to restore data that has not changed. This can be achieved by using full, differential and incremental backups.

Learn more about these backup methods and how they are used by BackupAssist's File Protection, File Archivng and System Protection.

Happy Holidays!

This will be our last newsletter for the year, so we would like to say thanks for your continued support in 2013.

It's been a massive year for BackupAssist; a new brand, a new website, new user interface, 5 major releases and a further 5 minor releases on top of that!  This has all been done for you, and our commitment to ensuring that your data and systems remain protected should disaster strike.

While the last few days of 2013 tick over, we are looking forward to 2014.  We have lots of powerful new features planned, and can't wait to talk more about them next year.

Just a reminder, our offices are closed for a couple of days over the holiday period. You can read more about our support availability here.

Happy Holidays and Best Wishes for 2014.
