We can't wait for you to try out the new features.  There are some real improvements in this version and we know it's going to make your life a lot easier.  Not to mention making your backups more secure than ever before.

Been through data disaster?

In other news...

Get a chance to read Wired's article last week on the rise of "All Data" enterprises? Turns out that Big Data is dead and gone, now the truly savvy multinational wants everything - we're okay with that, more data means more to backup!  The All Data desire may not exactly come as a shock in a post-Snowden world, but it makes a good read.  Check it out

All signs are pointing towards the next AWS data center going up in Germany, apparently in an effort to make the most of their beefed-up data sovereignty regulations. Chances are it won't work though, as US courts recently stung Microsoft for a user's email data and plucked it straight out of Dublin without breaking a sweat.  Read it here

Outlook.com (you may remember it as Hotmail before the rebrand), added new features this week and now looks strikingly similar to Gmail.  If you can't beat 'em, mimic 'em as close as legally allowable.  Have a look
