New updates available


There are new updates available for both BackupAssist and MultiSite Manager this month!

If your Upgrade Protection is current, you can now upgrade to v8.1.1 for BackupAssist and MultiSite Manager.

Check your Upgrade Protection status and renew here.

Included in v8.1.1 are improvements and fixes that make backing up your systems and data more secure and easier to manage.

Just on the off-chance you missed the most buzz-filled tech news this month, Microsoft has announced its new OS will skip a generation and be released as "Windows 10".  Perhaps most excitingly for old-school Windows fanatics, the new software apparently heralds the triumphant return of the Start Menu.

Facebook announced last month that it has established an Artificial Intelligence division, with the aim of creating an artificial brain.  This month, Yann LeCun, a longtime NYU professor was announced as the head of the project and Wired Magazine took an in-depth look into what it means to be the man working towards making Turing's dreams (and Asimov's nightmares) come true.  Learn all about it.
