Hyper-V Backup problem

Postby phoboss » Tue Jul 22, 2014 8:15 pm

Hi,
I have a problem with backing up Hyper-V Guests.

I have a Windows 2012R2 server running on a RAID1 and a RAID10 assigned to this Server as Storage.
On top of this server there are running multiple Hyper-V VMs whose containers are stored on the RAID10 Storage together with 3TB of Data.

Now, if I want to backup the Hyper-V Guest systems, BackupAssist automatically selects the D: drive to be backed up along with the VM's. Which of course is not desired, because I backup the Data on that drive through a different job and I only want the Hyper-V guest systems backed up.

So my question is, why does BackupAssist try to backup the entire drive where the Hyper-V containers are stored, and can I change that?
