BA49 user problem - unable to start backup

I have been getting this issue intermittently at a clients location.
What happens is, they backup with version 5.4.8.
They have 4-5 servers.
3 of them, with some regularity will fail for the above error 1 night a week.
On the same night.
But then work fine the rest of the week.
Sometimes it goes a week or 2 before it fails again.. sometimes its weekly.

They all completd fine last night.
I will try to get you a sample or the files tomorrow.
