Modifying backup tasks

There may be times when you want to change the backup task's details. For example, you may want to change what is being backed up or where the data is stored.

To edit a backup task:

  1. Click All tasks on the left menu.
  2. Locate the backup task you want to change.
  3. Click the Edit button.
  4. Select the tab with the information you want to update.
  5. Update the information and click the tick to save your changes.

The Edit screens are the same as the create task screens. All the information you previously entered can be updated, except the Multi-User and Single-User type of task selections, if versioning is used, and if encryption is used.
