Job name and description: naming and describing backup jobs

Accessing the job name and description settings
To access the Job name and description settings shown above:

1. Click Jobs in the navigation bar
2. Right-click on the desired job and select Edit.
3. Click Overview on the left menu.
4. Click Job name and description to expand the section.

Specifying a job name and description

To easily identify a specific backup job you can give it a meaningful name and description. This is important when you have multiple jobs configured and need to distinguish between them.

• The name and description of your job will appear on each backup report
  Viewing backup reports
• The job name and description can also be used as variables for scripts that run before or after the backup process.
  Adding scripts to run before and after the backup process

1. Input the name of your backup job directly in the Name field.
2. Input a description for your backup job directly in the Description field.
