Tried the V9 Beta?
The most advanced version of BackupAssist ever - production version coming September 30!

If you haven't had a chance to try the BackupAssist v9 beta version, now's the time!

BackupAssist v9 offers some truly impressive new features. It represents a huge leap forward in the technology used to protect the systems and data your business depends on.

The launch date for v9 has officially been set as September 30th, 2015, so there's still time to try the beta beforehand and let us know what you think!

Just as a quick reminder, perhaps two of the biggest new features in BackupAssist v9 include:

Rapid VM Recovery - the ability to instantly spin up a lost or damaged guest from its backup destination, getting critical systems and data back online in just seconds and giving you the time you need to plan a full recovery.

Hyper-V Tab - a brand new tab in the UI that will appear when BackupAssist is installed on a Hyper-V environment. This tab lets you monitor and manage the backup status of all guests, plus select individual guests for rapid or full recovery.

You can find full details on all the new features, as well as download the beta version for free by visiting the BackupAssist v9 Beta page.

Stay tuned for more info on the production version release!

Ready to go again?

You need to escape from a building, but there are only 3 rooms you can escape through. The first room is engulfed in fire. The second room is full of ferocious lions, and they haven't been fed in years. The floor of the third room is electrified with a lethal voltage. Which room do you choose?

See if you can beat Tom Betz in with the answer this month by tweeting @BackupAssist with #RecoveredARiddle.
