Description

This error indicates that there isn't enough memory to complete the backup job.

Resolution

Perform the following to investigate and resolve the problem:

  1. Check system resources available on the system.
  2. Check to see if there are any other processes which may be in use at the same time BackupAssist is running the backup.
  3. Check that your system has the required memory for the operating system you are using.
  4. This error may also occur if the local disk is heavily fragmented. Perform a defrag on the local hard drive and try the backup again.
  5. Restarting the machine will clear the memory, though it may not resolve the underlying problem.
