Description
System Protection is unable to back up to a disk with 4 KB sectors.
Physical sector size is 4kb. System Protection detected 4kb logical sector size.
Applies to the following operating systems:
- Windows Server 2008
- Windows SBS 2008
- Windows Vista
- Windows Server 2008 R2
- Windows Server SBS 2011
- Windows 7
Resolution
The sector size error may be resolved by updating the device driver. Contact your disk manufacturer to determine if a newer version of the device driver can resolve the 4KB sector problem. If it can resolve the problem, download and install the latest device driver
