Description
This error occurs when BackupAssist tries to detect the latest image back up on the backup destination, however it fails.
Resolution
There are two possible solutions to this problem
Resolution 1
This error can occur due to writing a System Protection backup directly to a network share.
It is recommend that all System Protection backups to a network device use a Data container. More information about Data Containers, see our Data Container guide.
Resolution 2
Run the following wbadmin command in a command prompt window (Start > Run > cmd) and see if there is anything returned: wbadmin get versions
This lists any snapshots that wbadmin is aware of. Try and find the latest backup that was run by date.
Also make sure that the backup that's trying to be found is actually located on that particular backup destination.
