Your backup job has failed to run for one of the following reasons:

  • Your free BackupAssist trial period has ended and a license is now required.
  • Your new BackupAssist license has not yet been activated.
  • Your version of BackupAssist was licensed for a set period of time and needs to be renewed.


Resolution 1 - Purchase a BackupAssist license

To purchase the license, please visit our BackupAssist purchasing page.

Resolution 2 - Activate your BackupAssist license

  1. On BackupAssist's top menu, select Help > Licensing
  2. Enter and activate (or reactivate) your product key using the fields provided.
