Description
This error is caused due to a problem with the Volume shadow copy service in Windows that is utilized to perform the backups of any open files or files that are in use at the time of the backup job.
To troubleshoot this error, I would suggest trying to re-build the VSS dll files. The process to do this is outlined in the following article http://support.microsoft.com/?id=826936
