Local and Network drives are backup destinations that appear to your computer as local drives or mapped network drives. This includes NAS Devices and iSCSI Targets.

In BackupAssist, Local and Network drives are supported by System Protection, File Protection and File Archiving backups, and divided into three categories.
- Local Directory
- Network Location (includes NAS)
- iSCSI target
Local and Network drive configurations
The configuration options available when you edit a backup job will depend on the type backup job you are editing. For this reason, there is a different removable media configurations page for each backup type.
