NTBackup Options Window: setting NTBackup specific options
The NTBackup Options Window is where you can configure settings that are specific to the NTBackup Method that the job was created with. NTBackup is the Windows Backup Utility that is used to perform the backup operation and has additional options that are unique to NTBackup which can be configured. Generally, the default values will work for most users but it may be necessary to alter these values, particularly when requested by the BackupAssist technical support team.

To access the NTBackup Options Window:
Advanced NTBackup options
These advanced options should only be modified by system administrators or advanced users. Here you can specify a number of options related to NTBackup, such as additional command-line parameters, advanced logging and display of the NTBackup window.
Backup execution and timing
Specify the backup timeout period and wait-time between backup phases.
Verify backup
Choose whether to verify the data backed up to your backup device against the original source data.
Compress backup
Choose whether to compress backup files as well as encypting them with a password.
