BA2009: Add-ons will not work without the base product key¶

Description¶
A BackupAssist ER Add-on requires a BackupAssist ER base license. This error will occur if you attempt to activate an add-on license key without an active BackupAssist ER license.
Resolution¶
BackupAssist ER is licensed using a subscription that is renewed each year.
To enable a license for the installation, you can go to the BackupAssist ER website and create an account using the email address that you supplied. Once you have logged into your account, you simply provide payment details and your installation will be automatically licensed.
