BA6117: An error occurred while accessing the virtual hard disk service¶

Description¶
An error occurred while accessing the virtual hard disk service.
Possible causes and considerations include:
- The VHD file is not valid.
- The VHD image is already attached.
- The access is denied to the host volume where the new virtual disk image file is created.
- The host volume has insufficient space.
- The backup jobs does not have read / write access to the backing store for the virtual disk.
Resolution¶
To contact BackupAssist technical support and provide diagnostic information, please follow the steps below.
- Click the help icon on the top right.
- Select the Contact support.
- Enter your email address onto the field provided.
- Enter a meaningful description into the field provided.
- Tick the box next to Submit system diagnostics with your query.
- Select Submit.
BackupAssist Technical Support will review your problem and diagnostics file, and contact you.
