BA7009: Cloud container incorrect region selected¶

Description¶
This error occurs when you create an Amazon S3 (AWS) Cloud Backup job and specify a region, and then edit the job after it has been created and change the region. Since the bucket already exists, AWS cannot create another bucket in the newly selected region with a duplicate name.
Resolution¶
Select the correct region or change the bucket name.
If you want to move the bucket from the previously selected region to the new region, then you must:
- Delete the bucket from the existing region using the Amazon S3 Management portal.
- Create a new bucket in the newly selected region.
To update or review a backup job:

Open BackupAssist ER.

Select the Jobs tab.

Select the backup job that you want to modify from the list of jobs.

Click the Edit button on the top menu.

Select the tab containing the information or selection you want to change.

Make the required update.

Click the Save button.
