BA701: Deleting one or more old backups failed¶

Description¶
This error occurs when BackupAssist ER cannot delete an old backup from the backup destination to free up space for the current backup.
Resolution¶
There are 2 possible resolutions for this problem
Resolution 1 – Check that the backup listed in the report is actually present¶
Sometimes BackupAssist ER can cache information regarding older backups that may have been already removed. Should this occur, this warning should only appear once.
It is recommended that you check the backup destination to see if the backup listed is actually present and accessible.
Resolution 2 – Attempt to delete the backup listed manually¶
The files located on the backup destination can be safely deleted manually through Windows Explorer.
