BA7016: An error occurred while checking cloud container's life-cycle configuration¶

Description¶
This error can occur when BackupAssist fails to get a cloud container's life-cycle configuration, e.g. due to a networking issue. The life-cycle configuration is a setting that can be used to free up space on the cloud destination.
Life-cycle settings are used to manage storage space, which includes deleting data that has not been use for a long time. When this happens a backup can be rendered unusable.

Resolution¶
Check that the machine running BackupAssist can access the internet, and that you can view the cloud container from the cloud service provider's portal. Resolve any connectivity or network performance issues that are encountered when performing these checks.
