BA7017: Could not back up the data required for a bare-metal recovery¶

Description¶
The Cloud Backup job could not back up the data required for a bare-metal recovery. This means that a bare-metal recovery will not be possible using this backup. The backup can still be used to recover individual files.
Resolution¶
This is a rare problem that should be resolved by rerunning the backup.
If the problem does persist, contact BackupAssist technical support.
To contact BackupAssist technical support and provide diagnostic information, please follow the steps below.
- Click the help icon on the top right.
- Select the Contact support.
- Enter your email address onto the field provided.
- Enter a meaningful description into the field provided.
- Tick the box next to Submit system diagnostics with your query.
- Select Submit.
BackupAssist Technical Support will review your problem and diagnostics file, and contact you.
