Description¶
This warning is usually caused due to an issue related to backing up NTFS attributes associated with the files listed in the backup report. Most likely causes to generate this are either permission or compatibility issues.
Resolution¶
Backing up files located on a NAS device¶
Most NAS devices run a Linux or Unix based system. NTFS attributes are not compatible with Linux/Unix as they're a Windows based format.
This may mean that the NAS device doesn't support NTFS and the best thing to do is to disable BackupAssist ER from backing up these attributes up. However you're best to check with the manufacturer
