Description¶
An unexpected error occurred while initializing the encryption engine for the backup job.
Resolution¶
Suggestion 1: If BackupAssist ER has just been upgraded from a previous version, and the BackupAssist computer has not yet been rebooted, then execute or schedule a reboot as soon as possible. A reinstall cycle may not be needed to fix the issue, so try a simple reboot first.
Suggestion 2: Uninstall BackupAssist ER, then reboot, and then reinstall BackupAssist ER. To learn more, see Installing BackupAssist ER.
