We’ve just released BackupAssist Beta 5.4, which includes our new Hyper-V Granular Restore Console used for restoring complete servers, individual Guests VMs, and even files and folders within Guest VMs.
Using the Hyper-V Granular Restore Console you can retrieve any file, folder or document of any Guest VM from an image backup of the Host. It’s literally a 2 minute, 2 step process:
Step 1 – Select your backup
Step 2 – Choose which Guest and volumes to mount
There’s also no need to backup the Host and each Guest separately. Simply perform an Image backup of your Host, and use the Hyper-V Granular Restore Console to find the appropriate Guest VM to restore files from.
Most importantly, we’re giving away a free BackupAssist license and Hyper-V Granular Restore Console Add-on license to the top three beta testers, so register now and get testing!

Does BackupAssist support Windows 2008 R2 and Clustered Shared Volumes (CSV)?
Is the a chance to combine the BackupAssist with PSFtp ? If there would be a possibility it would be perfect. I would be pleased, if i would get a anwser to the question.
