We’ve just released version 6.1.2 of BackupAssist. This is an important maintenance release with a number of fixes and improvements. We strongly recommend that you upgrade now as there has been a lot of work completed since our last maintenance release in October 2010.
This release is especially important for anyone using the following features of BackupAssist:
- VSS application backup (SQL Server, Exchange Server, Hyper-V Server, etc)
- The BackupAssist VM Granular Restore Console (for Hyper-V restore)
- Windows Imaging Engine backups
- Exchange mailbox backups
- Rsync Internet backups
