Recommended download for new users
This is a fully functional version of BackupAssist that includes the use of all add-ons for 30 days. To continue running BackupAssist after the 30 day trial period you will need to purchase a product key.
Works with:
Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7;
Windows Server 2003 / 2008 / 2008 R2 (including machines running the Hyper-V role);
plus Windows SBS 2003 / 2008 / 2011.

For use with Windows Server Core or Hyper-V Server machines. This version includes many of the pre-requisites for BackupAssist, such as .NET framework, that do not come with Windows Server 2008 Core or Hyper-V Server.
Works with:
Windows Server 2008 Core and Hyper-V Server.
For Server 2008 and 2008 R2 machines running the Hyper-V role, use the standard BackupAssist v6.4.1 installer above.

| The following Rsync downloads are for users wanting to setup their own Rsync Server for use with BackupAssist for Rsync. To use Rsync to synchronise data offsite from one machine to another via a LAN or a WAN, requires both client-side software on the machine where the data is located and server-side software on the machine where the data is to be stored. |
