Description¶
An error was encountered while attempting to copy the VM Instant Boot application to the backup destination.
This process is done to simplify the process of booting the backup into a VM and does not affect the actual backup process.
Resolution¶
The copying process involves copying the files from the BackupAssist Classic installation folder (e.g. under C:\Program Files (x86)\…) and place them in the backup destination to ease the recovery process.
A potential scenario that can result in this error is strict read permission of the installation folder. If this is the case, ensure that there is read access to the BackupAssist vXX folder.
