Description¶
This error will occur when the same SQL Server has been added to a backup job more than once. A single backup job can back up databases on multiple SQL Servers, but each SQL Server can only be added (to the backup job) once.
Resolution¶
Remove any duplicate SQL Servers from your backup job.
To back up databases with different authentication accounts, create a separate backup job using each authentication account, and select the databases that are backed up using that account.
To back up multiple databases in the same SQL Server, add the SQL Server to the backup job and select all of the databases to be backed up.
