Mailbox Protection reached end of life on 28 February 2017 and is not part of BackupAssist v10 and later. This article applies to BackupAssist v9 and earlier, which no longer receive technical support. See Software end of life.

Description¶
This error indicates that there may be an issue with a PST file which you're trying to add to while backing up Exchange mailboxes.
Resolution¶
Check to see if the PST file is corrupt or even a PST file at all by browsing to the destination which they're stored in.
Try backing up to an alternative destination to create a new PST file.
