BA2515: Unable to format media¶

Description¶
Windows was unable to format the backup media.
When a backup to a removable disk (rdx, REV, etc) is performed, Windows will try to format the media. However, this procedure is failing and the backup cannot start.
Resolution¶
Make sure that there is not a hardware fault or a media fault.
For example, try manually formatting the media from Windows Explorer or from the Command Prompt. Also try writing files to the media.
