Description¶
Windows Backup is sometimes unable to manage the backup history, and then not start the backup reporting the error There is not enough free space on the backup storage location to back up the data.In this situation, BackupAssist can step in and remove old backups in order to retry the backup.
Resolution¶
This warning is a sign that your data size may be getting too large for the backup medium, and you need to upgrade or reduce the size of the data selections in your backup job.
