BA3024: Partial transfer due to vanished source files¶
| Error code | Product | Applies to |
|---|---|---|
| BA3024 | BackupAssist | BackupAssist version 5.1 onward |
Description¶
This warning indicates that the original source file that was being backed up has either been moved or deleted from it's original location or that there may be something unexpected within the file name of the file itself.
Resolution¶
To remove this warning, check that all the files that you originally backed up are in their original location or not.
If these files have been moved, it's more than likely they're being backed up using the new location.
If they've been deleted then you can either remove the file from the backup destination (if it's not required) or restore the file to the original location on the source from the backed up file.
It's also been found that unusual characters such as '?' appearing in file names can also cause this warning and the file to be skipped. Check the path carefully to make sure that there isn't anything irregular with the file name.
