Mailbox Protection reached end of life on 28 February 2017 and is not part of BackupAssist v10 and later. This article applies to BackupAssist v9 and earlier, which no longer receive technical support. See Software end of life.

Description¶
This message has been generated because you are running an Exchange Mailbox Protection backup job, and to advise that Exchange Mailbox Protection backup jobs will not be migrated to BackupAssist 10, and will not run in BackupAssist 10.
Resolution¶
To learn how to update your Exchange Mailbox Protection jobs so that they are compatible with BackupAssist 10, please see our Exchange Mailbox Protection end of life article.
To prevent this message from appearing as a major warning, select the Do not show this again checkbox in the accompanying notice when BackupAssist starts.
If you have opened this error from a backup report, you can get to the Do not show this again checkbox by opening the BackupAssist console. The dialog with the Do not show this again tick box will open when BackupAssist launches.
