BA4805: Backup destination contains Data Container of different type¶

Description¶
This warning means that the folder where a Data container is to be created, already contains a container of another type. For example, you have backed up a VHD Data container and then attempted to back up a VHDX Data container to the same location.
Allowing only one container type means that the maximum amount of drive space is available for the container to use, and the space does not rapidly shrink if two Data Container use it.

Resolution¶
There are 2 possible resolutions
Resolution 1 - Archive the Data Container that is not longer used¶
Often this error will occur if you have upgraded your backup job from VHD to VHDX. If this is the case, you can archive and remove the older Data Container. You can also Archive and remove the Container if it is no longer needed.
Resolution 1 - Back up to another location¶
If you do not want to archive or move the existing Container, you can change the path of the backup job that failed. We recommend that you use another volume that has enough storage space.
