Description¶
A backup job to an external USB HDD media, which as the Bootable Media option enabled, determined that an existing partition on the media needs to be shrunk to make room for a new boot-partition. This operation cannot be performed during a backup.
Resolution¶
You can create a separate standalone recovery media (on a different external device) using RecoverAssist on BackupAssist's Recovery tab. To learn how to use the RecoverAssist Builder, see the Creating a bootable recovery media section of the RecoverAssist Builder guide.
