The Open Files Add-on stopped being sold on 31 December 2013, and technical support for it ended on 30 June 2014. See Software end of life.

Description¶
Your backup job has failed to run for one of the following reasons:
- The free trial period for the Open Files Add-on has expired.
- Your Open Files Add-on license has not yet been activated.
- Your Open Files Add-on was licensed for a set period of time and needs to be renewed.
Resolution¶
The Open Files Add-on can no longer be bought. If you already have an Open Files Add-on license, activate it:
- On the BackupAssist file menu, select Help > Licensing
- Enter and activate (or reactivate) your product key using the fields provided.
