BA7014: Cannot connect to WebDAV destination due to SSL certificate error¶
Superseded by newer technology
WebDAV has been superseded by S3-compatible cloud storage, and we strongly recommend using it instead (see Private cloud). Customers with older environments can continue to use WebDAV with the version of BackupAssist they have, but without technical support, which ended in November 2023.

Description¶
BackupAssist cannot trust the SSL certificate from this WebDAV destination.
Resolution¶
If you wish to proceed with this untrusted certificate (e.g. for a self-signed certificate), you need to check the "Ignore SSL warning" option in the destination settings for this backup job.
