Description¶
An unexpected error occurred while validating the existing container.
Resolution¶
BackupAssist encountered an unexpected error while validating the existing cloud container before running the backup. This is often a transient problem caused by a temporary loss of connectivity to the cloud storage provider, or by the provider being briefly unavailable.
Try the following:
- Re-run the backup job. If the error was transient, validation will usually succeed on the next run.
- Check that the machine has a stable internet connection and that the cloud storage provider is reachable.
- Confirm that the cloud storage credentials and permissions for the destination are still valid.
