BA7031: Cloud City Container Is Not Fully Protected¶
Cloud container's Immutability configuration is enabled, but it is in old format. Likely BA won't be able to recover in cases of corruption, as the corrupted-but-locked data content will be lost to historical object versions that the old data format does not store.

Description¶
If you receive this warning, it means that the target bucket/container has immutability features enabled, however the backup job is not using the Cloud Immutability feature, and this is not a recommended combination.
The key reason is that only the Cloud Immutability Cloud Backup format can take advantage of provider-level immutability features to protect your backup data. However, the original backup format does not achieve this level of recoverability.
Resolution¶
Please consider enabling Cloud Immutability, using a new bucket/container with immutability features enabled.
