BA723: Destination does not support the System attribute¶

Description¶
The backup destination does not support NTFS attributes. The selected files will still be backed up correctly, but the NTFS attributes will not be included in the backup.
Resolution¶
There are 2 possible resolutions for this problem.
Resolution 1 - Use a destination that is NTFS formatted¶
Only an NTFS formatted destination can correctly hold NTFS attributes.
If you require these attributes, you can use a backup destination that is NTFS formatted or format the current destination to NTFS.

Resolution 2 - Disable the warning¶
You can disable the warning that backup destination does not support NTFS.
To stop BackupAssist from generating this warning:
- Open BackupAssist.
- Select Manage Backup Jobs
- Select the backup job.
- Select Edit from the top menu
- Select Replication Options from the options on the left
- Under File attribute warnings section, please untick Warn about system attribute.
